Pop vs Rock (comparative-contrast)"by Daniel"

Have you ever asked yourself about which are the
differences between the two most popular kinds of
music in the world?. They are very popular because
they have their own style of music that is unique in
this moment, which are pop and rock music, where
there are a lot of characteristics that make them
different.

The firt characteristic are the instruments that
each one of the members play in their own kind
of music. For example the pop music instruments
are electronic devices, such as, the acustic and
electric guitars, the bass, and sometimes drums;
In contrast, the rock music instruments are: 2 electric
guitars with multieffects pedals, the bass and finally
the drums.

The secon characteristic between pop and rock music
that is very important to mention is the lyrics , for
example, pop lyrics talk more about love or feelings
that the author feels, or also talks about happiness; on
the other hand, rock lyrics talk about sex, drugs, and alcohol,
also they sometimes talk about happiness.

The third characteristic and last one is the fashion
in these kind of music. The pop music fashion depends
of the band clothes, they most of the time dress differents
colors of clothes. However, the rock music fashion is
more hard or looks more manly, and almost always
their clothes are black.

To conclude, exist many characteristics or facts
that make pop and rock music very different all the
time. I believe that the biggest es rock music because
they are more old and their music always is fashion.
