Me and my brother
Comparative/Contrast essay

“Should I love my immature brother? I’m always asking myself this, because although my brother and I used to spend much time together, each of us has significant and interesting similarities and differences, which allow us to stand on our owns.

According to this, my brother has a very different behaviour to mine. In fact, my brother and I are close in age [only some months make the difference], but, most of the time, he acts in an immature way and gets easily angry about his problems compared with me. When I have a problem I try to act in a mature way, instead of acting like a child and try to find a better solution.

Another difference between us is our outfit. Undoubtedly I can say that my brother and I have a very different stile. My brother is so vain and stuck up; he buys a lot of well-known brands and expensive clothes, shoes, caps and many other accessories. I won’t ever do that; I rather buy useful and cheaper things. I don’t matter if the things that I buy belong to a well-known brand or not.

Nevertheless, something that we have in common is that we like almost the same kind of music. Actually, we like every kind of music, like banda, pop, salsa, rock, and so on. So in this case, he or I can play music and no one of us worries about it.

Likenesses; differences, my brother and I don’t have to be very similar, we don’t need to have the same likes or be almost the same person to love each other, because these little differences of these big likenesses make us have a strong feeling about each other. Above all, we are siblings.
