DAVID & ALFREDO(Comparative)

Every person I have met is unique and special for me. I remember all my friends and keep the special moments in my mind. The most recent friends that I have are David and Alfredo, each one of them is special and unique, they have differences between them, such as the job; the place were they live, and the communication hold with me.

The job is one of the differences between David and Alfred. David works at a Chinese restaurant, which is in a new mall in Aguascalientes. He starts working at twelve in the morning; he has to serve clients and offer them the combos during the afternoon, and he ends the journey at nine o’clock. In contrast, Alfredo has a completely different job. He works at a farm with a lot of cows. He starts working at six thirty p.m. until five in the morning feeding, taking care, and milking them.

Their hometown is another big difference between them. David is from Veracruz, a lovely state from Mexico, which is in the south of the country. David moved long time ago to Aguascalientes, where he lives now with his parents and siblings. And he also goes to Veracruz on vacation to visit the rest of his family. Alfredo is originally from Los Angeles, California, which is a state of the US; he was born there as his sister. But his mother is from Aguascalientes. Now Alfredo lives in Michigan, also in the US, with a co-worker.

The way I communicate with them is also a difference. David is in the same university where I go, so I see him daily at the bus stop. We meet very often in the university or even in different places like downtown, the movie theatre, a mall, etc. In a few words we keep in touch day by day. On the other hand, the communication between Alfredo and me is not so frequent, because of the distance between us. He usually calls me as soon as he can or almost twice a week; he calls me to my cell phone or to my home phone, and sometimes via internet.

As a conclusion, David and Alfredo are special friends of mine that I would never forget. Both of them have special characteristics that make them unique, but at the same time they have things in common like both of them work, or are in contact with me very often. It doesn’t matter if they were born in different places with contrasting cultures or if they have different jobs, the important thing is that they are my friends and that I appreciate them so much.
